Centralised Lighting Energy Saving Device
 The company's ALTEM AESD - a centralised lighting energy power saving device that saves up to 15-30% energy depending on lighting fixtures and site conditions. It can be connected to all types of lighting loads which include fluorescent lights, sodium vapour, mercury vapour, CFL, metal halide, tube lights, etc. without any changes in existing internal wiring and lighting fixtures. ALTEM AESD is available from 25 kVA to 400 kVA in three phase 415 volts 50Hz. It can be designed according to customer’s specifications and requirements. It has 2 years warranty against all manufacturing defects.

Technology
ALTEM AESD is designed on the technology that even though the rated voltage is specified by lamp manufacturers to start, the resulting arc can be started and stabilized at lower voltage. This reduction is achieved by introducing virtually load-less device in the path to reduce power consumption at optimum level without affecting other parameters. Beyond certain power, performance of gas-discharged lamps saturate. Power saving is achieved by reducing excess energy consumed by lighting load. This result in the substantial increase in life of lamps, choke burning reduces, thus reducing the heat and maintenance. This is based on the principle that above saturation region, if more power is supplied to the lamps, it gets dissipated in the form of heat, thereby reducing its life. This energy saving device uses special purpose, super grade imported laminations, which have 99% efficiency.
ALTEM AESD is connected to all types of lighting loads which include fluorescent lights, sodium vapour, mercury vapour, CFL, metal halide, tube lights, etc. without any changes in existing internal wiring and lighting fixtures. It is available in ranges from 25 kVA to 400 kVA in three phase 415 volts 50Hz. It can also be designed as per customers’ requirements. It has direct mode and energy saving mode switch with digital energy meter.
